Brooklyn Bounce DJ

Brooklyn Bounce is one of the best-known German dance projects of the 1990s and 2000s. The project emerged in Hamburg in the mid-1990s and was originally developed by producers Matthias Menck and Dennis Bohn. Its international breakthrough came with “The Theme (Of Progressive Attack)”, followed by “Get Ready To Bounce”, one of the project’s best-known tracks to this day.

Further releases such as “Bass, Beats & Melody”, “Loud & Proud”, “Born To Bounce”, “Club Bizarre” and “Crazy” firmly established Brooklyn Bounce as a defining force in the European dance scene. The sound combines powerful dance and hard trance elements with techno, catchy hooks and the unmistakable energy of the great club and rave era.

Today, Brooklyn Bounce is primarily represented by DJ and producer Dennis “Bonebreaker” Bohn. As Brooklyn Bounce DJ, he brings the project’s classics to the stage alongside current productions and modern interpretations of its sound. More than two decades after its first successes, new releases and collaborations continue to appear — including new productions in 2026.

With a set spanning ’90s/2000s dance, hard trance and techno, Brooklyn Bounce DJ is an act for everyone who wants not only to hear club history, but to experience it once again at full energy.
